Our Philosophy

Wallbanger Academy realizes the importance of, and places an emphasis on individual instruction. In a team setting, the individual athlete sometimes misses out on the direction he or she needs. At the Wallbanger Academy each athlete is a wallbanger and will be treated accordingly. We are the newest and finest hardball & fastpitch training center in the San Gabriel Valley. We are not just a location, but a brand name you can trust, and the program has a cast array of experience working with athletes of all ages and abilities.

Ballers are made in the off-season. Make plans this off-season to step your game up. Wallbangers train hard and play hard year round.

Wallace graduated as a 3 sport letterman in 1988 from Rosemead High School in Southern California, he was drafted by the Atlanta Braves who he played with through 1992. Wallace was a catcher by trade who learned to play 3rd base, 1st base and outfield to keep his bat in the line up. Wallace also played professionally in Puerto Rico over the winter while with the Atlanta Braves.

Wallace has been part of the USC Baseball Camps and Clinics for 11 years. He was the head Varsity coach at San Gabriel High School for 5 years. In 5 years they graduated 33 players that Either were drafted or played college baseball. He currently coaches his daughters So Cal Bombers team.

Hitting & Catching

At the Wallbanger Academy we feel to get the full benefit of our Program, a minimum of 6 lessons is needed. To truly change your game, a change in Muscle Memory is required. Giving us the opportunity to work with you on a consistant basis will help us achieve that goal. If you would like to try us out for 1 or 2 lessons we can accomidate that as well.

Lessons
(Each lesson will be approximately 200 swings)

1 Lesson - $40.00

6 Lessons - $210.00 (includes workout shirt)

12 Lessons - $360.00 (includes workout shirt and 1 video analysis)

Small Groups / Teams - Please call for pricing.

- Lessons must be paid in advance on the 1st lesson.
- Please arrive early to get warmed up.
- Please mark equipment as we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- If you need to cancel a lesson, minimum of 24hr. notice is required. If this becomes habitual, lessons will be deducted accordingly.
- At Wallbanger Academy we do not teach a cookie cutter method. Molding everyone the same way. We will take your strong points and work around them.
